Captain Gary Stansbury started his EMS career at Washington County EMS from 2000-2002.  He continued his career with St. Joseph, covering Grimes and Burleson Counties, until 2006. 

​After becoming a paramedic in 2007, Captain Stansbury started working again at Washington County EMS until 2015. 

​After a thriving career, Austin County was pleased to welcome Captain Stansbury to the team in 2015 where he climbed up the chain of command and currently holds the position of Captain within our team.
