Assistant Chief Turnbull began his EMS career in 1986. He joined Austin County EMS in 1987 as a volunteer EMT and soon became a unit coordinator.
He earned his Paramedic certification in 1990 and began a career with the Houston Fire Department retiring after 28 years in 2016 as an E/O Paramedic Firefighter. Assistant Chief Turnbull was instrumental in bringing Advance Life Support to Austin County EMS. He has held the position of shift supervisor and is currently service as an Assistant Chief. Jim enjoys meeting and serving the citizens and visitors of Austin County. |
