Captain Just Ward, born and raised in Humble, Texas, graduated from Splendora High School in 2016 before obtaining his paramedic license from Blinn College. Starting his EMS career in 2017 at Montgomery County Hospital District (MCHD) EMS, he quickly embraced leadership roles, rising to the position of Captain.
His dedication and hard work earned him the title of In-Charge Paramedic of the Year in 2022, along with a Clinical Excellence Award at the Texas EMS Conference. Captain Ward was also part of the winning teams in two national clinical performance competitions: EMS World in 2019 and the EMS Today Hands-On Clinical Challenge in 2020. In January 2025, Captain Justin Ward joined Austin County EMS as the Clinical Manager, bringing nearly a decade of invaluable experience and a proven record of excellence. His passion for advancing EMS standards, enhancing training, and providing exceptional clinical care drives him to make a difference in the community. Captain Ward is eager to share his expertise and serve as a vital member of this remarkable team. |
